THERMODYNAMICS AND KINETIC PROCESSES OF POLYMER BLENDS AND BLOCK COPOLYMERS IN THE PRESENCE OF PRESSURIZED CARBON DIOXIDE |
|
|
A comprehensive review is presented on the effects of high pressure carbon dioxide on the thermodynamics and kinetics of multicomponent polymer systems with emphasis on commercial polymer processes which could benefit from this materials processing strategy. Consideration is given to processes, such as polymer blending, polymer foaming, impregnation polymerisation and copolymer self-organisation. 276 refs.
